Drumming

James has been a drummer for about 30 years! He took up the drums at the age of 20 whilst studying at Manchester University. With his student grant he bought his first drum kit and squeezed it into his small room. He then began auditioning for bands and even was chosen over the drummer from "Ian Dury and the Blockheads" to play in Chameleon.

After university he joined a Cruise Ship Band and toured the world stopping in exotic places such as Dubai and India before recording a demo in Boston. He then returned home and played in the Disco/Rock outfit called Level 5. James gave up his career as a professional drummer to start a family.

He now drums as a hobby and has recently bought Roland V Drums which he plays on regularly. He is constantly on the look out to join new bands.
